How to register for an event using XBux

Steps to create your XBux account and register for an event:
(if you already have an XBux account, skip to step 4)

To create your account, CLICK HERE and choose either Plus or Standard, then click the button (peek at it first )
Fill out the personal information page, then click the button and fill out your sports profile, then click the button . (peek at it first)
If you need to create additional accounts, log out of XBux (click the button) and go back to step 1

Go to the event registration page in one of the following ways:

1) Browse to http://www.xbux.com and sign in using your XBux username and password, then click the button. Click on the desired event.

or

2) Click on the event registration link on the promoter's website to go to the Registration Preview page, then click the button (peek at it first) and use your XBux username and password to sign in (peek at it first ).

Select your classes, then pay using your credit card. (peek at registration steps)

Note: If the class has sold out, it will say "Closed" under the Status on the right. (see it)

Pop-Up Windows

Q1: Why doesn't anything happen when I click on the links on this page?

Most of the links on this page open in pop-up windows, so most likely you have pop-ups blocked. You need to tell your pop-up blocker to allow pop-ups from xbux.com. If pop-ups aren't being blocked by your web browser, they might be getting blocked by a toolbar, such as Yahoo toolbar or Google toolbar, or anti-virus software such as Norton or McAffee.

Registering your kids

Q2: If I am registering for my kids, do they each need their own XBux account?
A2: Yes. Every rider who will be registering for the event needs a separate XBux login. Create their account using their name and profile information. When it comes time to register for the event, you will be able to enter your own name and billing information at the final (checkout) step.

Q3: I created an account for my first child, but when I tried to create another account for my second child, it didn't work. Why?
A3: Each account needs a different username. After creating the first account, you need to Log Out of that account before creating the second one. There is a button at the top right of most pages. You can also close your browser windows, and open a new window.
NOTE: you will get a warning if you reuse the same email address, but you can re-enter the desired password and proceed anyway.

Q4: Is there a way I can register all of my kids for the event all at once? Or do I have to sign in as each one of them and register them one at a time?
A4: Once you've created accounts for all of your children, you can "link" those accounts together. Then on registration day, you can register them all from one account, and pay with a single credit card transaction. For instructions on linking accounts, click here.

Awards Card (VISA)

Q5: What is this Visa thing all about?
A5: The XBux Action Cash Awards card is free when you sign up for an XBux Plus account. It is NOT a Credit Card. It is a Stored Value (debit) card. Prize money from events can be paid onto the card, and then spent anywhere Visa is accepted.

Q6: Ok, it's not a credit card. I don't want it anyway. Do I have to get it to register for an event?
A6: No. You can sign up for a Standard account instead of the Plus account, and you will not receive the card. You will still have full access to all of the online event registration features.
